I've lived in Texas for almost forty years so my values are somewhat traditional and southern. This means I believe in putting a woman's happiness before my own..to make sure she feels safe and cared for.

As for my personality I would say I am a jack of all trades who is easy going, not jealous or judgmental. I am mature but still maintain a great sense of humor about life. I am educated and driven but still am able to compartmentalize a career, family, friends, etc.

As for activities, I am not into the bar scene but do enjoy the outdoors, especially tennis. That being said sometimes the best place to be is taking it easy and hanging out at home. Nothing beats sitting by the fireplace on a cold winter's night ;) An ideal relationship in my eyes is one of comfort and friendship. A deep and bonding friendship that is beyond being "In Love" if you know what i mean.

I don’t have much faith in a long term drawn out email courtships. We are adults and life is too short. If there is a chance that there might be some chemistry between us I would much prefer finding out over dinner sooner rather than later.
