I enjoy anything that has to do with my kids, outdoors, hiking, picnics, beach ect. I truly feel life is to short and it should be lived to the fullest. I work to live, not live to work, and feel that honesty and communications is the biggest part of any relationship. I feel people should be an asset to each other, not a weight holding each other back.

I served 21 years in the military, I have lived and traveled all over the world, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. I love to see other cultures and lean from them. I am now retired (2006), I started own my own business four years ago and am very happy that I can make my work schedule and adjust it as I need to. I have four children, two over 21 that do not live with me, and two that I share 50% custody with my ex. My children are my life, I help bring them into this world, and love that I can help them grow and experience life to the fullest.

I am looking for an adult relationship in MY life..... Someone to spend time with and enjoy time together (dinner, theater, beach, travel, ect.) as I stated above, honesty and communications is a must, without either of them, there is no relationship, friendship or other wise.

What I am NOT looking for is someone to raise my children, that is my job and one I truly love, the best job in the world. My children have a mother and a very good one at that. So I am not looking for a replacement in my children life. (Any mothers or true fathers out there reading this will know exactly what I am talking about.)

As for the person I am looking for;

She should be; Strong willed, family oriented, Independent free thinker, adventuress, willing to speak her mind and stand by her convictions, definitely needs to have a sense of humor (Big One), and if she has children to make sure she puts them before anyone. In a nut shell, basically someone who believes life is a mystery to be lived, not a problem to be solved.

I have never done the dating site thing, so not really sure what to expect. All I know is " What's the worst thing that can happen, I make a good friend" I can live with that.
